It is nice to meet you again in this page.Exactly ı ‘ve been here for a month and a half. After this period, I am more used to be here.In first weeks, ı was missing my country more than now, especially crowded streets in Istanbul.When ı wished to see more people in streets, visiting Ljubljana is a good option.It takes 50 minutes to go Ljubljana by train and trains work only weekdays.But it’s okey that Kambus (bus of Kamnik) works also in weekends.
After a month, ı accompanied a youth-exchange activity again with MCK between Slovenian and Swiss people.It took place in Kamnik.First day, they visited Velika Planina and the second day, I joined them.First we had breakfast in Dom v Kamniski Bistrici where the group stayed.Then we went to Terme Snovik.They gave us information about how they use biomass in heating processes.After that it was time to visit the centre of Kamnik; learn more about its history and see the historical places in Kamnik.
Of course, we were hungry.We went to Budnar Museum House to see peoples’ living style in past poor times and to have lunch.It was an amazing feeling to visit Budnar M.H. for me. Each of us prepared bread by our hands and using salt,flour,yeast in milk.Because of the ingredients used in bread was so natural, the breads were really delicious.I can still remember the smell .It was really interesting to see past times’ toilet outside of the house, old washing machine, cooking styles,living styles.It is always good to remember that sentence;
Those do not know the past, can not have tomorrows…
